Preschoolers are often intrigued by the animals that they have seen around them. This include animals from the book, in the neighbourhood or even from the zoo. For this week, we have introduced the topic on ‘birds’ to our children. And chances are, the children would have seen a bird flying overhead of them. Hence, it is a fun way to introduce nesting, laying eggs, exploring feathers and bird feeders.
Let us take a look at what our children have learnt.
The toddlers have been engaged in peacock mural painting, where they enjoyed working with their paint and brushes. They also had so much fun curling up the papers for their bird collage.
The preschoolers were occupied with their peacock crafts, where they explored various materials in creating them.
They also took the opportunity to create bird feeders.
Lastly, the children also created a 3-D model of birds and branches.
It has been a fruitful week for us, despite of being back at Phase 2 of COVID-19. During this heightened alert period, we hope you will continue to stay safe and avoid crowded places 😷
