Holiday Program – The Ugly Duckling Story
For this week of our school holiday program, we have introduced the fairy tale of ugly duckling to our children. This story is one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most famous fairytales. The story captures a strong message about acceptance and the importance of kindness to others.
After the sharing and discussion, the children started their hands-on craft works based on the story. Here are some of the wonderful creations from both the children and their teachers.
As Christmas is coming, our children were also involved in creating classroom decorations for this festive season. They make snowy artwork and Christmas trees together as a class.
The children were also given the opportunities to try weaving with coloured papers. This helps to develop their cognitive and fine motor skills.
And we look forward to next week’s learning with all our children! Stay safe
