Jun’21 Holiday Program – Week 4 🐭
For this week, we have introduced one of the Aesop’s fables on “Lion and the mouse” to our children. This fable helps them to understand that mercy brings its reward and that being small does not mean that we cannot help a greater. In the story, the lion thought that a tiny mouse couldn’t be of any help to him. Though the mouse is small, it still came to help when the lion was in trouble. Being helpful to others is an important virtue that we would like to cultivate in our children.
Let us take a look at what our children have been working on.
The preschoolers were engaged in the creation of a gigantic 2D lion mask, as inspired from the fable.
The teachers have also extended the children’s learning by teaching them about the trees and nature. As such, the children expressed their imagination of an ideal habitat for the lion through a painting.
They also did a flower craft as they learnt about the nature.
Time flies when we are having so much. This marks the end of our Jun’21 holiday programme. We will be back to our curriculum soon. Have a wonderful weekend ahead!
