My Singapore 🎡
As we continue to widen the children’s knowledge of their immediate environment, we would like to touch on the topic of “My Singapore” – the country where we are living in. This lays the foundation for children to learn about the differences in our cultures, traditions and way of living as a multi-racial country.
By learning about the national flag, anthem and places of interests in Singapore, it will help to develop a greater sense of belonging to the community, pride and love for our country. Let us take a look at what our littles ones have been learning this week.
The toddlers have been working with their teachers to construct different models of the Singapore Flyer.
The younger children were also engaged in creating different type of art work on our iconic “Merlion” statue. Some of them had the opportunity to create a 3D model, while the rest came up with a fabulous collage of it.
The older children were having fun creating food models of Singaporean’s favourite local dishes.
They also painted a beautiful picture of Marina Bay Sands to end their week.
We hope you had a fun-filled week like us too! Stay tuned for next week!
