Orientation week 2021 🎒
We had a wonderful orientation week, as all the children returned to school from the new year holiday. For this week, we have shared a story related to teamwork with our children. Based on the story of “Picking radish”, our children had great fun breaking the ice with their new found friends.
Let’s take a peep at what our children have been been engaged in for this week.
The children have been given the opportunities to work on their fine motor skills, by building a 3D carrot farm for their pretend play. They enjoyed so much building their ideal farm as a class.
Through this pretend play, the children were taught about how carrots were grown by the farmers. They learn about plotting the land and planting the carrots. It was a good simulation of the planting process. In addition, the children also learnt to appreciate the carrots in their lunch more. Looking forward to exploring new week with our children. Have a wonderful weekend!
