Phased reopening for N1, N2, PG & IF
Our younger children have finally returned to school this week, after the much awaited staggered reopening of school. Just like the K1’s & K2’s, we have focused our attention on raising their awareness in cultivating good COVID-Safe habits. As these children might be too young to understand the concept of virus like COVID-19, we have decided to put more emphasis on teaching them about good personal hygiene and practices that will help to protect themselves against the viruses. These include the teaching of regular and proper hand washing techniques, the right way of wearing face masks/shield and keeping a safe-distance from their peers and teachers.
In spite of their young age, majority of the children were able to adapt to the use of masks/face shields in school for prolonged hours. They were able to pick up the hand washing routine and know how to keep a safe-distance from everyone in school.
We would also like to express our gratitude to the parents from our CCK branch. They have sponsored mask hooks, with our school name, for all the teachers and children in the school. Thank you for your kind gesture!
